Lanolin Fatty Acids (Distilled) is a molecular distillation product of the alkaline hydrolysis of Lanolin, prepared by purifying the
wool grease that is a byproduct from when sheep wool is finished into wool products. The fatty acids is a complex mixture of
straight chain acids, branched chain acids and hydroxy acids. It is in the form of a hard, waxy solid. The majority of the mixture
of fatty acids is saturated with carbon chain lengths varying from C8 to C40. It is a white solid soluble in ethanol, castor oil
and hot petrolatum.
 Application
Used in detergent, shampoo, shaving cream and eye makeup due to its permeability to skin, antibacterial and emulsifying
property, and as antirusting agent.
