An analgesic derivative of the synthetic μ-opiate agonist (R)-Methadone (M225880) and a precursor of β-Acetylmethadol. It does not evoke heroin-like discriminative stimulus effects unlike other methadone derivatives. It has inhibitory effect on 5-Hydroxytryptamine (H974990) uptake.
