Bombyx batryticatus
Somewhat cylindrical, usually curved and shrunken, 2~5cm long, 0.5~0.7cm in diameter. The surface grayish-yellow, covered with white powdery aerial mycelia and conidia. The head relatively round, 8 pairs of legs, segments
prominent, caudal portion somewhat dichotomic. Texture hard and fragile, easily broken. Fracture even, peripheral
layer white, middle part with 4 bright brown or bright black rings of silk glands. Odor, slightly stinking; taste, slightly salty.
