Description
A white odorless powder extracted from the sterol rich fraction of wool grease. Bonds very well with solvents being highly lipophilic
when used as a thickener and is very stable, rarely crystallizing from the solvent when used.
Application
Topical lipid applications containing lanosterol impart a silky smooth feel and are ideal for use in lip gloss and lipsticks as well as
deodorant sticks and insect repellant sticks. Added benefits include excellent pay off characteristics, plus an emollient homogenous
